About ThreadProof
ThreadProof turns a pile of text message screenshots into one numbered PDF exhibit: a cover page, the screenshots in date order, page numbers with a total, a redaction log, and a hash appendix. It runs entirely in your browser. The screenshots are never uploaded, and the server stores only your email, your login, and your subscription status.
Why it exists
People end up in disputes with the conversation already on their phone and no practical way to hand it over. The common answer, forty images in an email, throws away order and completeness. The professional answer, desktop extraction software and a full device backup, is heavy for an everyday matter. ThreadProof sits between the two: it takes what you can already see and packages it properly, on the phone, in a few minutes.
Who builds it
ThreadProof is built and operated by Pest Leads Pro LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, doing business as ThreadProof. It is a small product team, not a law firm. The guides on this site are written by the ThreadProof team and reviewed when the underlying phone software changes; each guide shows its own last-updated date and a changelog line.
What ThreadProof is not
- It is not a law firm and it does not give legal advice.
- It makes no representation about how any document will be treated by any court, agency, employer, or insurer. Rules differ by place and by matter.
- It does not recover deleted messages; it works from screenshots you take.
- It does not verify that a conversation happened, and no software can.
- It does not upload your screenshots or read your messages.
