Boilerplate

ThreadProof is a browser-based tool that turns phone screenshots of a conversation into a single numbered PDF with a cover sheet, burned-in redactions, page numbers and a SHA-256 fingerprint for every source file. Because the work runs on the visitor's own device, the screenshots are never uploaded. It is used by tenants, employees, parents, small landlords, insurance claimants and the lawyers who receive their evidence.

• How the stitching, hashing and redaction work, in as much technical detail as you want.
• Why we refuse to tell customers that a document will be accepted anywhere.
• What people most often get wrong when they send screenshots to a lawyer.

Things we will not say

• Anything about an individual customer or a case. We do not hold their files and would not discuss them if we did.
• Any promise about how a court, employer or insurer will treat a ThreadProof packet. That is not ours to predict.
• Predictions about the outcome of anyone's dispute.

Please use the name as one word with a capital T and a capital P: ThreadProof. Screenshots of the product are fine to reproduce; the sample case shown in them uses anonymised company names for customer privacy.
